About Coating Applications Group
Coating Applications Group was formed in 1981 and is now part of The Allied Textiles Group. We specialise in manufacturing the very highest quality PVC and PU coated fabrics for a range of specialist sectors including protective work and safety wear, hot air balloon fabrics, performance tent fabrics and leisure inflatables.
State of the art facilities
We operate from a state-of-the-art, 20,000 sq ft factory, which is located just off the M65 in Lancashire. This allows us to offer a fast efficient delivery service and short lead times. To ensure the very highest standards, all our research development and quality control facilities are fully air-conditioned and situated under one roof. Because of this we can ensure consistently high quality, while constantly monitoring and improving our production processes to deliver a service that is second to none.

We also operate a strict environmental code of conduct and utilise a series of unique energy saving manufacturing systems which allow us to create a range of fabrics which comply fully with the 1991 Environmental Protection Act. On top of our environmental credentials, all our business and management practices have been independently tested to ensure that they conform to all relevant British, European and International standards, including the demanding requirements of Oeko-Tex Standard 100, ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management Standard and ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management Standard.

Exeat Direct Coated
Breathable, water resistant, windproof and fire retardant coated nylons and polyesters. Ideal for military, industrial and
leisure use.
Venté
Our specially developed 2 & 3 layer nylon and polyester fabrics keep out wind, rain and snow while allowing perspiration to pass through the Venté membrane and away from the body.
Commission laminating services
