Coating Applications news
New Silver Lining to our PVC Products
CAG are happy to announce that we have not only improved the fungicide used in our PVC fabric, but also introduced an anti-microbial component.
This means that as well as restricting fungal growth, we are now utilising the properties of SILVER to restrict the spread of MRSA and E.Coli.
This is now standard on our N600 range and on other selected products.
We truly believe that this is a unique advantage to our customers.
Cordura / Ability Product Ranges
As part of our drive to extend and improve our performance product range, we are now introducing a range of coated Cordura fabrics. These will be available ex-stock.
There will also be a budget "Ability" brand for customers who do not need the performance or branding of Cordura.
This shows our ongoing commitment to give our customers what they need.
INPAS 2010
CAG are again attending the INPAS Inflatables Trade Show at Stoneleigh Park.
The Show runs from the 16th and 17th March, and is expected to be much bigger than last year.
We enjoy the opportunity to meet our customers, and to see the many impressive inflatables manufactured from our fabric.
Child Friendly PVC
After listening to consumer concerns over the safety of the phthalate levels of regular PVC products used for child-play applications, Coating Applications have taken the lead and developed a phthalate free PVC. The research and development for this product has taken many months, but following recent external certification, we are confident that our product is now ready for market. We are currently the only European manufacturer to offer phthalate free PVC into the soft play market which conforms to the recently updated European Legislation for toys.
New Wipe Clean PU Coatings
As part of our ongoing programme of technological innovation in polyurethane coating technology, we've just developed a fully waterproof and breathable fabric with a wipe-clean PU surface. This surface coating is hard-wearing and non-swelling meaning that fluids can be easily wiped or washed away. This fabric has now been perfected so that the coating is clear enough to enable high visibility colours to remain EN471 compliant, and resilient enough to allow washing at high temperatures. This is a significant step forward in fabric coating technology and should further enhance our current range of fabrics for safety, outdoor and garment applications.
